One Burrard Place: New Residential 62-floor Tower Has Opened in Vancouver
Reliance Properties and Jim Pattison Developments have completed One Burrard Place, a 62-story tower that’s the tallest residential building in Vancouver, and third-tallest overall in the city.

Three towers make up the Burrard Place development, including One and 2 Burrard Place, a second residential tower currently under construction, and an AAA-rated office tower designed by Bing Thom. With Lululemon occupying the upper floors of the office tower, and Jim Pattison Toyota taking over the ground floor, the tower is almost fully leased. Previously, the site housed a Toyota dealership.

In addition to marking the southern gateway to downtown from the Burrard Street Bridge, this $500 million project is Reliance and Pattison’s largest project to date. A total of six sites were available for the construction of extremely tall buildings in downtown Vancouver.
“We are extremely proud of One Burrard Place because our design by IBI Group had to be approved by an international panel for tall buildings in order to be approved for development,”
– Reliance Properties CEO Jon Stovell said.
“Our design had to demonstrate architectural excellence and significant environmental standards, so we are thrilled to be able to deliver on these important elements.”
Among the amenities are a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, spa, gym, indoor/outdoor yoga, private shopping, and an outdoor patio with a barbecue.
During the development and construction phase, One Burrard and 2 Burrard Place were completely sold out. Besides the tower condominiums, the project also includes 50 market rentals.
