Fridays on Front is back in Downtown New Westminster for another fantastic year!

This beloved summertime block party offers a perfect mix of food, live music, and activities for all ages. Best of all, it’s free to attend.

This event is presented by Douglas College, in partnership with the City of New Westminster, Port of Vancouver, New West Record, Tourism New West, Pooni Group, and Fresh Prep.

Event Details:
Held weekly at Front Street Mews in Downtown New Westminster, Fridays on Front is easily accessible from Columbia and New Westminster SkyTrain Stations.

Highlights:

  • Weekly themes with different live performers and food truck/vendor lineups.
  • Enjoy tasty bites, shop from local vendors, and listen to live music along the waterfront.
  • Fully licensed event with drinks provided by Steel & Oak.

Themes:
This year’s event will feature themes such as Bollywood, Retro, Pride, Latin, and Video Games Night. The full lineup of music and vendors will be announced soon.

Important Information for Fridays on Front:

  • Free Attendance: Enjoy the event without any entry fee!
  • Transportation: Consider taking transit, walking, or biking. Parking is limited, so plan a safe ride home.
  • Age Requirement: You must be 19+ and provide two pieces of valid ID to receive a wristband and purchase bar tokens.
  • Bar Tokens: Purchase bar tokens first, then redeem them at one of the two bars. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, Debit, and cash.
  • Bar Hours: Beer and wine are available from 5 pm to 8:30 pm. Token sales end at 8:20 pm sharp!
  • Pricing: $7 for a 355ml can of beer or a 5oz glass of wine. Lookout Society will collect empty cans for their I’s on the Street program; visit their booth.
  • No Outside Alcohol: Only beverages purchased inside the event are allowed.
  • Intoxicated Persons: Intoxicated individuals may be denied entry or removed from the event.
  • Token Validity: Beer and wine tokens are non-refundable but can be used at any of the six event dates.
