Heritage Christmas

Experience the enchanting Heritage Christmas at Burnaby Village Museum, presented by Concord Pacific. Immerse yourself in the festive ambiance of lights and traditional decorations across the museum’s 10-acre venue. Enjoy seasonal entertainment, demonstrations, and activities.

Indulge in a meal or treat at the new Mai’s Cafe or explore other offerings from food trucks.

– Free gate admission.
– Carousel rides: $2.52 each or a Baker’s Dozen (13 rides) for $30.24. Prices exclude tax.

– Tuesday-Friday: 1-5:30 pm
– Saturday-Sunday: 1-9 pm
– December 19, 2023 – January 5, 2024:

Note: Last admission 30 minutes before closing.

During the holidays, parking at the Museum may be limited. Explore nearby spots for additional parking. Consider alternative transportation options such as transit, taxis, or carpooling.

Bright in Burnaby
Saturday, December 2, 2023, 5-9 pm

Visit the official launch of Heritage Christmas with a special tree-lighting ceremony at 6 pm. Carousel ride proceeds during Bright in Burnaby will benefit the Burnaby Christmas Bureau, with Concord Pacific matching donations.

Holiday Light Displays
Event Date: Tue, Nov 28, 2023 – Sat, Jan 20, 2024

Enjoy Burnaby’s festive lights from parks to front yards, creating a joyous celebration of light, color, and holiday spirit. Check back in late November for a complete map and details of the city’s light displays.

Swim with Santa
Event Date: Thu, Dec 7, 2023, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Location: Eileen Dailly Leisure Pool & Fitness Centre, 240 Willingdon Avenue

Kick off the holiday season with fun games, face painting, water activities, and a special visit from Santa in his swimming gear!
– $1 per person.
– Children 7 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Toonie Skate
Event Date: Sat, Dec 23, 2023, 10:30 am – 2 pm
Location: Bill Copeland Sports Centre, 3676 Kensington Avenue

Bring family and friends, wear your ugly Christmas sweater, and enjoy crafts, face painting, reindeer games, and holiday cheer. Santa & Friends will make a special appearance.
– Admission: $2 per person (Free for children 3 years and under). Skates and helmets included.
