Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival is BACK! Amazing line up of Performances!
After a 2 years Hiatus, Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival returns to Deer Lake Park!
On Saturday, August 6, the event will take place at the Festival Lawn at Deer Lake Park and will be headlined by Grammy-award-winning rock band The War on Drugs. It will also feature performances by Canadian singer and songwriter Kathleen Edwards, The Soul Rebels, Ruby Waters, Balkan Shmalkan, and Robert Connely Farr highly admired singer-songwriter from East Vancouver.
For over 20 years, Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival has welcomed all ages for a day in the sun-filled with food, music, and family. The gates open at noon. Will call and the box office opens at 11 am for ticket pick-up and sales. There will be food vendors on site. Beer and wine will also be available to those who are 19+ with two pieces of valid ID, including one photo ID.
There is no parking available onsite. Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from two locations:
BCIT parking lots D, E, F, and G
- Rate: $5.25 (day)
- Shuttles will pick up and drop off at Lot D entrance starting Saturday at 10:30 am and run throughout the day.
Brentwood Skytrain Station
- Shuttles will pick up patrons on Alpha St starting Saturday at 10:30 am and run throughout the day.
